Byron The Aquarius transforms Kuna Maze's 'Dawn' into an ethereal dancefloor experience.

Brussels-based producer, multi-instrumentalist and DJ Kuna Maze gets the remix treatment from Atlanta stalwart Byron The Aquarius, who transforms "Dawn" into an ethereal, percussive and spacey DJ tool for the dancefloor. “Dawn” was previously praised by the likes of Groove Magazine, Beatport, Tarzsa (BBC 6Music) and many more, with standout performances at Eurosonic, Vondel Park and Super Sonic Jazz Festival.

The release of ‘Night Shift’ saw Kuna Maze evolve his sound, production techniques and musical direction, inviting vocalists and collaborators to the forefront. The album features well-received singles "Broken Light," "Late Night Tales," “I Told U” featuring legend in the scene and creative polymath Steve Spacek and "Don't Drop Dead feat. Midva”, aka Nils Boyni, the keyboardist from Emile Londonien, who Edouard has a joint project with called ‘House Party’, an improvisation group that incorporates two dancers.

The spirit of collaboration persists as Byron The Aquarius re-works the wind-down anthem “Dawn”. A keys player by trade, Byron’s deep-seated passion for melody and harmony infuses an irresistible and contagious energy into the original track. Keeping with the album's concept of journeying into the night Byron’s love for live frequencies reverberates throughout the remix.

Byron The Aquarius has been hailed the "jazz house virtuoso" by Mixmag, spearheading his own label TALKNOI$E Records while boasting releases on Shall Not Fade, Sound Signature (Theo Parrish's imprint), Jeff Mill's Axis Records, Ego Records and many more. He has toured the planet playing festivals such as Dimensions, Dekmantel, All Points East and a DJ'd in a plethora of the world's best clubs, where his remix of Kuna Maze's "Dawn" naturally feels at home.
